Official Player Agreement & Liability Waiver
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING. By checking the agreement box below, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to the payment terms, refund policies, and risks involved in participating in the league.
1. Registration Fee & Payment Agreement
• Total Fee: Player agrees to pay the full registration fee of $1,000 for the 20-game schedule (weather permitting).
• Deadlines: All payments must be made according to the posted league deadlines.
• Roster Spot: This fee secures a permanent, dedicated roster spot. Roster spots cannot be shared, split, or paused.
2. Strict Refund & Cancellation Policy
• No Refunds / No Exceptions: All payments are final and non-refundable.
• Injuries & Missed Games: Players are legally responsible for the full $1,000 fee, even if they miss games due to personal scheduling conflicts, general injuries, or routine ailments.
• Weather Policy: No partial refunds will be given if games are cancelled due to unplayable weather conditions out of the league’s control.
• The Medical Exception: A partial or prorated refund (or fee waiver) will only be considered if the player provides a formal, signed Doctor’s Note explicitly stating that the player requires surgery or has suffered a season-ending injury that completely prevents them from playing.
3. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability
• Risk of Play: I understand that playing competitive sports involves the risk of serious injury, including broken bones, sprains, and concussions.
• Release: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation. I release the Gulfstream Collegiate League, league staff, referees, and tournament facilities from any financial or legal liability for injuries I sustain while playing.
